Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas Director since October 2021, where she oversees the program and staff in delivering quality advisement and assistance to the business community. Through strategic planning and key stakeholder relationships, Ms. Sosa guides the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas team to meet and exceed goals in the areas of business development to impact the economic climate of the southern portion of Texas.

Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas Loan Officer since November 2022. Ms. Garza is responsible for identifying and supporting the financial needs of local businesses and working with them throughout the loan process. Ms. Garza has over 20 years of banking experience, which includes consumer and commercial lending, mortgage warehouse lending, and SBA emergency response. She also has held a Texas real estate license for 9 years. Ms. Garza is bilingual and able to assist Spanish-speaking clients.

Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas board chair with expertise in commercial lending. With more than 45 years of experience in consumer and commercial banking, he holds the position of Business Relationship Manager IV at Lone Star National Bank. His extensive leadership background includes roles at esteemed institutions such as JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo Bank, and BBVA Compass. He holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas Brownsville and has earned a Graduate School of Banking certificate from South Louisiana State University.

VP Chair of BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas, specializes in corporate governance. He's held leadership roles at Brownsville ISD, Texas Southmost College, and UT Brownsville. He holds a BBA from Pan American University, an MS from Texas A&I University (adult education), and pursued a doctorate at the University of Houston in educational administration.

Secretary of BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas, specializes in internal controls. Moises Gomez, CPA is a certified public accountant registered with the state of Texas. Mr. Gomez has extensive experience in accounting for local, mid-sized and large companies as well as aiding those same size companies with tax preparation, audits, consulting, and software implementation. He graduated from A & I Kingsville University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. He has almost 50 years of accounting and tax experience.

Acts as the Treasurer for BLDC, also known as Business Development Fund of Texas, specializing in commercial lending. With 19 years in consumer and commercial banking, he's held significant positions at Texas State Bank (Compass), Rio Bank, Regional Management, and currently serves as a Branch Manager at International Bank. Mr. Molina earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Schreiner University.

Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas as a director with expertise in commercial lending. With 35 years of experience in both consumer and commercial banking, he has held notable leadership positions at JPM Chase & Co. since 1998 and continues to do so. Mr. Esqueda pursued his education at the University of Pan American in 1985.

Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas as a director with expertise in commercial lending. With 47 years of experience in management, retail banking, and commercial lending, she has held leadership roles at Frost since 2007 until 2023; that Mrs. Ayala decided to retire and spend time with family. Mrs. Ayala holds a CBA completion from The University of Virginia at Charlottesville.

Serves as the BLDC dba Business Development Fund of Texas as a director with expertise in Workforce Development and Community. For the last 17 years, "Lizzy" has been passionately working and volunteering in the Rio Grande Valley. Mrs. Putegnat has taken on leadership responsibilities at WHIN Group, Brownsville Economic Development Council, Schneider Electric, and currently at Titan Fuel. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies, along with a minor in dance and a certificate in markets and management from Duke University.

Hector was also an adjunct professor at Texas Southmost College and is a licensed Texas Realtor.
